Course title:   Recognition of Prior Learning - Teleporter Operation

Objectives:
 
This programme was introduced by FÁS to facilitate plant operators that do not have a FÁS CSCS card but have experience deemed adequate by FÁS following submission of an application to them, accompanied by documentary evidence to support it.

Who should attend:
 
All candidates must be 18 years old or over, hold a valid Safe Pass Card during the course and have documentary evidence to support the following minimum period of experience required:

YOU NEED A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND THIS MUST BE INTERPRETED AS FOLLOWS:

6 Months fulltime experience since the introduction of the FÁS CSCS programme for that particular item of plant
PLUS
18 Months fulltime experience prior to the introduction of the FÁS CSCS programme for that particular item of plant

ALTERNATIVELY

24 Months fulltime experience prior to the introduction of the FÁS CSCS programme for that particular item of plant

- Corrective Training Programme
- Theory Test
- Practical Test

Course duration:   1 day

Certification:
 
On successful completion a CSCS card and Fetac certificate will be issued.. CSCS cards are valid for a period of five years and Fetac Certificate is valid for life
